Puppy purchase agreement

   Edgerly bulldogs guarantee that on the day of purchase the puppy to our  knowledge is healthy,free from disease and up to date on vaccines.The purchaser has agreed to have their new puppy seen by a licensed veterinarian within 3 business days and the breeder be contacted immediatly with findings not consistent with this health guarantee.We offer a replacement puppy up to one year of age against hereditary life threatening conditions if the following is met;

  1.Puppy must be kept up to date with vaccines and documentation saved as proof from veterinarian.Puppy must be kept on heartworm prevention and documentation saved. 

   2. Puppy must be seen by licensed veterinarian within 3 business days of purchase.                                                                                                                                                 

   3. Puppy must not be altered in any way.This includes spaying and neutering,ear cropping,tail docking or removal of dewclaws within the 1 year guarantee of this contract.

  4.The puppy can not be transferred to any other party.Transfer of puppy voids contract.

  5.If puppy dies within 1 year of age the seller will offer a replacement puppy of the same sex  when available provided a (necropsy) autopsy at buyers expence is performed by a licensed veterinarian proving the death was a result of hereditary conditions.The seller will not reimburse for any other expences of daily care and maintenance or vet bills. 

  6. If a hereditary condition is found that is life threatening the puppy will be given back to breeder and buyer will receive a replacement puppy of same sex  when available.Breeder is not responsible for any daily care expences or vet bills incurred.Breeder is not responsible for shipment of returning puppy back to seller from buyer.Buyer is aware the cost of owning a bulldog is not cheap.They are a man made breed.They continue to usually require more vet attention then the average canine.Any puppy with a life threatening defect should be returned to breeder.

  7.The buyer understands and agrees that these dogs are not outside dogs and require an air conditioned home to live in. 

  8.This contract is valid only for the signers of this agreement.

  9. This contract does not cover common breed related problems such as cherry eye,entropion,extropion,loose hips,skin allergies or outbreaks of localized demodectic mange.

  10.This agreement does not cover common neglet problems such as vitamin deficiencies,worm infestations or accidents. 

  11.The breeder will not be held responsible for any temperment issues associated with bad training techniques. Bulldogs are not guard dogs and should not be taught to be aggressive.

  12.The buyer will contact and offer puppy back to breeder first if ever in need of placement. 

  13.The puppy you are purchasing is not guaranteed for breeding or showing purposes.

  14.The breeder also reserves the right to not be held liable for any distuction of property puppy may cause from chewing and not being under supervision.Bulldogs like to chew especially when teething and should be given bulldog appropriate chew toys to help with teething pain or they will find something else to chew on.
